Privacy Policy
Girls Gone Bible is a subscription service that provides access to premium podcast content to subscribing members via the internet through apps or software that can be accessed by computers and mobile devices (the “Service”). It is Girls Gone Bible’s policy to protect your privacy with respect to any personally identifiable information we collect while operating the Service. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) will explain what kind of information may be collected, how it is used, and why (and to whom) it may be disclosed. For clarity, the Privacy Policy only applies with respect to information we collect through the Service and not from other services. Though the security of your personal information is important to us, we are not able to guarantee the absolute security of your personal information.
Like most website operators, Girls Gone Bible may collect non-personally-identifying information (for example: browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date/time of each visitor request). The purpose of such a collection is to gain insight into how Girls Gone Bible members use the Service. We may occasionally release such non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, for example, by publishing a report on trends.
We may also collect potentially personally-identifying information, such as IP (Internet Protocol) addresses for users logged in and/or leaving comments. In addition to information you choose to submit to us, we and our third-party service providers may use technologies that automatically store or collect certain information when you interact with the Service. Such information may include: your UDID, advertising identifier, device identifier or other unique identifier; your device functionality (e.g. browser, operating system, hardware, mobile network information); the URL that referred you to the Service; your device location and characteristics. We may only disclose such information under the circumstances that we use and disclose personally-identifying information as set forth below.
Users of the Service may choose to interact with the Service in ways that require us to gather personally-identifying information, for example, your name, email address, age, zip code, and country of residence. The nature of such information gathered depends on the user interaction; for example, users who subscribe to the Service may be asked to provide a username and email address. We may use your personally-identifying and potentially personally-identifying information for the following (non-exclusive list of) reasons: to provide and maintain the Service, including monitoring your usage of the Service; to manage your user account; to enforce our Terms of Service; to contact you regarding updates or other informative communications about the Service, e.g. news, special offers and/or general information; to manage your requests to us; to evaluate a merger, divestiture, restructure, reorganization, dissolution or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets; for data analysis. We may retain such information for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, including to the extent necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our legal agreements and policies. You have the right to request that we assist in deleting any personal data that we have collected about you; please note however that we may need to retain certain information if we have a bona fide legal obligation to do so.
Advertisements by our advertising partners may be delivered to you, and such advertisers may set cookies that allow the service to recognize your computer whenever an ad is sent to you or to compile information about your or other users of your computer, with the purpose of (among other reasons) delivering targeted advertisements. Please note that this Privacy Policy does not cover the use of cookies by any third party.
By using the Service, you may encounter links to third party websites not operated by us. We urge you to review the privacy policies and terms and conditions of third party sites you visit. We do not control, and do not assume any responsibility for, the content or practices of any other website, product or service.
Girls Gone Bible will only disclose potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to its employees, contractors and affiliates on a need-to-know basis in order to process it on our behalf or to provide the Service, and will only disclose such information to those who have agreed not to disclose it to others. We may share such information in the following (non-exclusive list of) situations: to service providers, in order to monitor and analyze the user of the Service, or for payment processing; for business transfers (e.g., a merger, sale or other transfer of our assets); to our business partners in order to offer you certain products, services or promotions; and with other users (to the extent you share such information in public areas that can be viewed by other users). You acknowledge that certain employees, contractors and affiliates may be located in a country other than your own, and you consent to the transfer of information to them. Girls Gone Bible will not rent or sell your personally-identifying or potentially personally-identifying information to any third party. Girls Gone Bible may disclose your personally-identifying and potentially personally-identifying information if required by subpoena, court order or other bona fide government request, or when we believe in good faith that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the rights of Girls Gone Bible, its affiliates, or any other third party.
If you have supplied your email address, we may occasionally email you about new features, solicit feedback, or keep you apprised of new developments with Girls Gone Bible and the Service.
Girls Gone Bible may collect data about the behavior of its users and subscribers, and may display such information publicly or provide it to others, provided that such disclosures will not disclose your personally-identifying information.
Girls Gone Bible may use cookies or similar technology to display personalized content and advertising and to store your user preferences. A cookie is a string of information stored on a user’s computer, and provided by such a user's browser to a website when the user returns to the website. Our use of cookies helps us to identify and track visitors, their usage and their website access preferences. If you do not wish to have cookies on your computer you should set your browser preference to refuse cookies before use of the Service. By using and navigating our website and the Service without updating your browser’s cookie settings, you hereby acknowledge and agree to Girls Gone Bible’s use of cookies.
Subscribers to the Service may be asked to provide information, including personal and financial information required to process payments. We will only collect your information as needed or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of your interaction with the Service, and will not disclose personally-identifying information except as set forth herein.
In each case, Girls Gone Bible collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor's interaction with Girls Gone Bible. Girls Gone Bible does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.
If Girls Gone Bible or substantially all of its assets are acquired or we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, user information may be transferred or acquired by a third party – you hereby acknowledge the possibility of such a transfer and the possibility that an acquirer of Girls Gone Bible may use your personal information (as set forth herein) in the future.
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time and at our sole discretion. Please check this page frequently for any changes. Your continued use of the Service following a change in our Privacy Policy will be deemed acceptance to such change.
